As some of you may already know PECO and PP&L are now deregulated in Pennsylvania. That means that they will start having competition, which means savings for consumers. I have signed up to market a discounted electric energy source. Who isn’t interested in saving money on their next electric bill?
Not only will you save but nothing else will change. You still get billed from your same energy company. You still get service from your same energy company. PECO is even advertising that you switch. They only want to provide the transmission and distribution of electricity, not the production.
